The eggroll is an old idea. Really old. Strangely enough, the most interesting thing that Americans have done to try and spruce it up is the Pizza Roll. Sad but true.But then we found Soul Rolls. Their flavors include: Smoked Turkey, Sage Sausage,Jerk Chicken - Spicy (Ja Rolls), Sun-Dried Tomato and Swiss Cheese, Carne Asada Steak, and Latin Style Grilled Chicken. And they come with this “Neo Soul Sauce” (described as “a Peruvian inspired jalapeño and garlic dipping sauce”, though it reminded me a lot of tahini) that’s really amazing.If you’re lucky enough to find these at your local store, grab ‘em.
